Hi Jeremy,

My saddle fits like a glove. I have been putting a lot of wet saddle blanket time on it. I put it through hell but it cleans up nice and I never had a problem with it.  This saddle is a real head turner I get compliments all the time. The picture with the bass mailbox was during hurricane Isaac, you know I couldn't pass up riding through the high water.  I wanted to thank you for making the experience of buying a saddle from you easy. I didn't really know where to start or what i wanted but you made it easy for me. Ill keep sending pics through the years I'm sure it will last a lifetime.

Jeremy,I thought you might like a picture of my mare in your saddle.  We went and worked cows today.  Isn't she beautiful in her new duds? I fit the breast collar to her today with the shorter tugs.  Pretty nice fit. Thanks for sending them. Also, the bucking rolls you sent are great.  Much, much nicer when she drops down working cows.  J Thanks again.  Feel free to use the picture if you like.  I figured I would send a better picture when she wasn't fuzzy, but it was a nice day for a picture.  

 I got my saddle in and I must say I just become a collector of fine art, cause that is what it is. You can put it in your art collection then go and put it on your horse and put in a full days work.t fits me and my horse. The preturned sturrips are great. The workmanship is second to none. Service was great.

I must say this won't be my last J. Stead saddle.

 I am just thrilled with it!  It is beautiful to look at, AMAZING tooling, super thick leather and fleece and I can tell it'll last me a lifetime which is how long I plan to keep it :)

I rode my saddle in Bandera for two days and it was fantastic. It was as quite and comfortable as could be and everyone was very impressed. I was not even sore at all....I have never felt that good after a full day in the saddle.  I think I sold three saddles for you that weekend. I hope you have heard from my buddy Lee Roundtree.
Soon as I get a good picture of my rig on a horse I will send it.

 Sorry about the delay, got about 50 miles on my saddle no complaints, good detail, rides better than any saddle that I have ever owned . I put 12 miles on it in one day could have kept going but didn't have headlights. I would recommend your saddles to anyone. Going back into the mountains will  try to get pictures soon.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great saddle. It has almost been a year since I bought my lady wade from you and it has held up well so far. Purchase: I found this particular saddle on craigslist and visited the website for additional pictures and information. Price on the saddle was $1700

Likes: I would have to say this is one of the best built saddles I have seen in a while and you get more value than you can imagine. I bought this saddle for my wife as a wedding present and she absolutely loves the style and look of the design. On a functional side you get a full flat plate rigging and D rings for the rear cinch. The leather used is the highest quality I have seen. Well stitched and extra thick. It comes complete with long tie downs and rings. It even has a rawhide hobble ring on the rear latigo. The skirt is cut perfect for an all around ranch saddle and built strong enough to jerk steers all day long. Henley twist in the stirrups make it easy to break in and the custom tooling help with longevity of wear. I can not say enough nice things about it. Never seen anything like it even at the big custom shops where the price starts at $5000.

Dislikes: No complaints. Already logged in several hundred miles trailing cattle and it was broken in the first week.

Quality: Semi quarter rawhide covered bars, highest quality leather.

Summary: I would feel comfortable just sending him a check on any saddle I need in the future.

Purchase: In researching a custom saddle for my SE Arabian stallion I came across Jeremy's web site. His designs intrigued me so I contacted him and we discussed his saddle options. After reviewing his work we struck up a deal and agreed upon a fair price.

Likes: The saddle has been extremely well made. No blemishes, fits the horse well and fits me just as well also. I can ride in this saddle all day and not have a sore butt. More importantly my horse is no worse for wear either.

Dislikes: There is nothing that I would claim to dislike it is a solid saddle.

Dislikes: n/a ~ I haven't found any area of the saddle that I do not like.

Quality: Leather is extremely supple, soft and comfortable immediately. The ostrich seat makes the saddle look amazing and the beautiful carved flower and design are outstanding. This saddle has exceptional workmanship! Jeremy warranties his saddles for 10 years ~ I didn't find that with any other saddle makers!

Summary: Overall ~ This saddle is outstanding! You cannot find a better looking saddle; made to order, beauty and quality $1700 with breast collar included.

I just wanted to let you know that I rode in my saddle for the first time yesterday! It is unbelievably comfortable, what a great saddle. How do you size your lady wades? My daughter is outgrowing her saddle, she is about 4'10 or 11 and will probably grow to 5'2"-4". I don't want to get her one until she can get one that will fit her when she is full grown. Do you have any suggestions?

My husband Craig absolutely loves his saddle!!  I was wondering if you also make headstalls?  His one ear headstall doesn't match the saddle (it's dark chestnut), and I was thinking a lighter headstall with the brass studs in it to match those on the saddle would be a very cool Christmas present.

Hi my name is Kyle Thomas and i just wanted to share with you my feeling on my cow horse saddle. My dad bought one and loved it so much I ordered one on what he was telling me about it. I got it in on a Monday put it in the horse trailer and left town for a fourday event. Rode it for fourdays right out of the box and it roade like my 5 year old saddle. Fit the horse great roade great and felt broke in right out of the box. Thank you Jeremy for the great saddle. My sister is having one built for her at this time so i guess the whole family will be riding Jeremys saddles.

I purchased this Wade saddle. The saddle had to be fit to my horse which did not fit any saddle we had in the barn. It came out great. They made a great saddle that fit both me and my horse perfectly. I had a bit of ideas to customize the saddle, and they were willing to work with all of my ideas. I am very happy with it. Well I just spent about 6 hours in my new cow horse saddle and had it on 4 horses in one day and i have to say it just keeps inpressing me how well i like it. In one day it rides as good as any of my leddys or ryan cutters. Fit all of the horses well and people just keep coming over to look at it. The saddle arriver at noon today,I looked it over real good,you did a very nice job of putting it together,very clean lines! I oiled it more (as we talked about) and put a shine on it (Tan Cote)! It did as you said, it darkened up real nice. I'll send you photos of it on and off the horses,
